That is the entire bar, and it delivers a clean, balanced feel every time. So whether you have sensitive skin or just want a simpler routine, this bar fits. We keep the ingredient list short on purpose. No fragrance at all, no colorant, and no mystery chemicals — just clean, plant-based ingredients you can read and understand.

Every ingredient in this bar comes from plant-based sources. We use no beef tallow, no lanolin, and no mammalian-derived ingredients of any kind. You can trust what’s in the bar — and what isn’t.

 From Our Workshop to Your Shower

We handcraft each bar using the cold process method in our Camdenton, Missouri workshop. We never overheat the oils. That means the natural properties of every ingredient stay intact. After that, we cure each bar for at least four weeks. As a result, you get a harder, longer-lasting bar with rich lather from first use to last sliver. Because we handcraft every bar, each alpha-gal safe castile soap bar has its own natural look and feel.

What Is In This Bar

Ingredients: Sodium Olivate, Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Sodium Chloride.

That is the whole list. Olive oil, water, and a little salt, cured into soap. Sodium olivate is what olive oil becomes once lye has worked on it, which is also why lye is not on the list: none of it remains in a finished bar. There is no fragrance, no colorant, and no second oil.

No beef tallow, no lard, no lanolin, no goat or other mammalian milk. Nothing in this bar comes from an animal.

About the Glycerin

Glycerin is one of the hardest ingredients to pin down if you are avoiding mammalian products, because it can come from plants or from beef fat, and labels almost never say which.

Ours is not added at all. When olive oil and lye react, saponification produces glycerin on its own. Large commercial soap makers strip it out and sell it separately. We leave it in the bar. With only one oil in the recipe, there is exactly one place the glycerin in this bar could have come from, and that is the olive oil.
